A Site Icon is the small image on the left hand corner of a browser tab. If you use a bookmarks toolbar, it is also the image in your bookmarks. Most themes come with a generic Site Icon, so you may want to personalize it for your site.
In the past, you needed a plugin to add a Site Icon to your site, but WordPress now includes it as a built-in feature.
I am going to show you how to add a site icon to your site AND how to make that image super-quick using Canva.
The recommended size for a Site Icon in 512 x 512 px

You can also upload images or use Canva’s Elements to customize your image.
