I admire anyone who can make a decision without doubting yourself.
I happen to be a professional mind-changer. Within minutes of making a decision, the doubt sets in.
Am I making the right choice?
Why did I say “yes”?
The only exception is when I have had time to think things through. For example, when Craig proposed to me… I knew I wanted to marry him – no doubts!
I admire people who know what you want to be when you grow up and actually become it.
In my 1st attempt at college, I was studying accounting.
Then I switched to sociology, social work, anthropology, mathematics, accounting (got an associates degree!) and health information (another associates degree & credentials!)
Want to know what my income-earning job is?
I work in the office of a local building supplies company.
I happen to love my job 🙂 But, I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up…other than happy!
I admire the person who started saving for retirement when you were young.
You were/are smart!
I admire anyone who makes it to age 35 without debt.
I really do. I fell right into the credit card trap when I was 18. As a result, it took me much longer than it should have to learn how to make it through tough financial times.
When I didn’t have money for things, I just put it on my credit card.
I admire people who forgive easily.
I have a difficult time forgiving people who really hurt me. There aren’t many on that list – thankfully!
But, I am working on changing this….
I admire the person who is always willing to take on one more responsibility.
I feel lazy around you.
You work 2 jobs, keep your house spotless, volunteer at church and in your community, foster needy children, and work on DIY home improvements.
I’m lucky if I can get the bathrooms cleaned and dinner made.
I don’t know how you do it all AND still manage to take on more on top of it. You AMAZE me.
I admire anyone who can make it through the day without needing down time.
I just don’t understand how you do it.
Life isn’t always easy…. But, each day you make the best of it. And that’s awesome 🙂
